Before departing Cardiff Airport check your passport is valid. You might think it is but many people arrive at Cardiff Airport only to be told their passport expired a few months ago.
You also need to check the passports of any children who are travelling with you too - use our children's departure check list below too! - as they are only valid for 5 years unlike an adult's that's valid for 10 years. This catches many parents out. In fact, invalid passports are the biggest reason
passengers are refused from flying.
You'll also be refused travel if any passports are in very bad condition, and could therefore have been altered or tampered with.
